COS x Stephen Doherty 夏季膠囊系列登場，藝術家獨家專訪分享創作歷程

COS 發佈與曼徹斯特的跨領域藝術家 Stephen Doherty 的展開合作，全新限量的膠囊系列以讚頌大自然的美為主軸，延伸出藝術與時裝的情感交織。
材質上，藝術家 Doherty 選用絲綢和亞麻材質，彷彿一張畫布般，重新演繹他的藝術創作，優雅的花卉圖案融入 COS 服裝中，改變後的剪裁，展現輕鬆優雅的現代造型，無論正式或休閒場合都能恣意搭配出屬於自己的風格面貌。
飾品上更有著細緻的細節工藝，珠繡點綴、獨特的腰帶設計、絲巾、皮革拖鞋和機能細節，讓人們在展現優美風格之餘也能保持穿著的舒適性。
藝術家 Stephen Doherty 專訪
MC：When you initially received the brand invitation, what were the reasons that prompted you to accept this collaboration?
當初收到品牌邀約時，是什麼原因促使你答應這個合作？
Stephen Doherty：I’ve always liked the sense of ease in the COS collections. We both have an appreciation for the beauty in simplicity.
我一直很喜歡COS各服裝系列輕鬆自在的氛圍，我們都很欣賞簡單中所蘊含的美感。
MC：Your artwork is filled with the dynamic beauty of flowers. When it came to translating such artistic features into fashion, did the design or creative process differ from your previous works?
你的作品充滿花朵動態的美，當初要將這樣的藝術特色轉化成服裝時，在設計或創作上，是否不同於你以往的創作方式？
Stephen Doherty：It did! There are definitely more elements to try and balance compared to working with a static canvas. It was such a fun and interesting process to consider the body and how the prints would cut into the figure.
確實有所不同！與在靜態畫布上相比，有更多元素與項目需要嘗試和平衡。不僅需要關注印花圖案本身，還得考慮到它們在穿著者身上的呈現方式，這是一個很有趣且讓人興奮的過程。
MC：If you had to choose one piece from this collection as your personal favorite, which one would it be? Why?
如果要從這個系列中挑一件你個人私心最喜歡的，會是哪一件？為什麼？
Stephen Doherty：I really love the trouser set. It has so much volume, the movement of the fabric really adds a sense of lightness. I also love the placement of the print on the shirt and the impression of the flower softly falling open as it wraps around the shoulder.
我非常喜歡這套印花的服裝！褲子的部分，它有很大的蓬鬆感，面料的流動性增添了一種輕盈感。也很滿意襯衫上印花設計的位置，以及花朵纏繞肩膀的柔和、展開延伸感。
MC：During the collaboration with COS for this new limited collection, were there any memorable moments?
這一次COS的全新限量系列，在跟品牌合作的時候，有沒有令你印象深刻的事？為什麼？
Stephen Doherty：Of course! Seeing the first set of samples was really exciting. I had a meeting with the creative team and they took me through the initial options, it was so great to see the start of it all coming together. Another would be when I saw people wearing the collection for the first time at the launch!
當然有！看到第一批樣品真是令人興奮。我和創意團隊開了一次會議，他們向我展示了最初的成品，看到所有事情從開始逐漸聚合在一起，感覺真是太棒了。另一個令人雀躍的時刻，是在發布會上第一次看到人們穿著這個系列的服裝！
